Excitement!

Who would have thought that I could learn SO much in such a short time? I cherish every new piece of information and hunger for more. It has been a long time since I have invested in my professional development, often my concerns and energy focused on my students. Unfortunately, taking the time to learn only helps your students more, but this is often overlooked with the hustle and bustle of teaching.

  1. i look forward to the blogs being a large part of the professional conversation that happens in our office. i truly believe this is a way for us to grow and reflect in ways that we don't usually tap into. what could become 'gripes' might end up becoming meaningful conversations.

  3. I know exactly what you mean bout being so excited about learning. It keeps my head swimming about how many learning opportunities area available to us. I wish as a classroom teacher, I had had more time for my own learning. Unfortunately, I was always trying to keep up with new learning for them and grading those darn papers.
